Awakening of A Dragon

E arly afternoon Liu Pei Hsuan-te stands at the door of a room of a poor hermitage, looking at a sleeping man on the bed inside. He breathes peacefully, sometimes turning over. Liu Pei waits. He isn't suffured, because the gentle sunlight is pleasant, and birds whispers joyfully. And the nowadays-unknown dragon in the history, who sleeps under his eyes, will wake and see him eventurally.
Finally the man wakes, as the dark eyes as the bottom of lake brightening. He doesn't notice the visiter at the door, and after stretching, scans outside unconsciously. "Mr.K'ung-ming." Liu Pei steps inside, and addresses Chu-ko Liang K'ung-ming politely. "I'm General Liu Pei. I visited you twice last year, but you weren't unfortunately. I'm glad. I can see you now."
Liu Pei is a loyal retainer of the Han dynasty. The faithfully-gentle man regret that Ts'ao Ts'ao has grisped the authority to make the emperor a puppet, and plans to defeat the traitor. But Ts'ao Ts'ao's army are powerful, almost ruining Liu Pei's. His hope is just to exclude Ts'ao Ts'ao and to revival the corrupted Han dynasty, bringing an aeon peace for people. He needs an excellent strategist and heard about K'uang-ming, which brought him to the hermitage.
K'uang-ming listens quietly, then speaks. "I'm sorry, but I think it is impossible to revival the Han dynasty. Ts'ao Ts'ao is too powerful, and also it's hard to invade the domain of Sun Ch'uan." Already part of the southern land is taken by Sun Ch'uan Chung-mou, a general who rose his head following Ts'ao Ts'ao. However a way is left. K'ung-ming tells Liu Pei that he should cover prefectures which is not yet invaded by the two feudal lords. "Devide the land into three," K'uang-ming says. "You conquer there in west, then fight Ts'ao Ts'ao to unite with Sun Ch'uan." The sleeping dragon finally opens his eyes in spring 207. He is 27 years old, and Liu Pei 47. It is K'ung-ming's big decision that he would serve for all his life for a now-unknown general. After joining Liu Pei, he successes his first work to defeat hundred-thousand-solder army of Ts'ao Ts'ao.
